El documental intenta acercar al público el problema del tráfico de mujeres confines de explotación sexual, algo que se conoce como la esclavitud del sigloXXI. A través de los testimonios de doce mujeres de diferentes nacionalidadesque han tenido la valentía de contarnos su experiencia, el documental intentaexponer todos los elementos implicados en este complejo problema, cuyas cifrasson alarmantes y van en aumento. Hemos viajado a Rumania para conseguir algunosde estos testimonios desgarradores, país donde proceden en la actualidad lamayoría de estas mujeres. También hemos contado con las voces de expertos en eltema de la trata, como policía, guardia civil, jueces y ONGs como APRAMP yProyectos Esperanza que nos aportan su amplia experiencia.

This documentary hopes to bring the general public closer to the problematicissue of trafficking with women for sexual exploitation that is considered tobe the slavery of the twenty first century. Through testimonies from twelvewomen of different nationalities who have had the courage to tell us abouttheir experiences, this documentary tries to show all the elements involved inthis complex problem. The figures are alarming and this trade is on theincrease. We have travelled to Rumania, the country where most of these womencome from at the moment, to obtain some of these wrenching testimonies. We havealso used voices of experts working in this area, such as policemen, CivilGuards, judges as well as NGOs such as APRAMP and Proyectos Esperanza (Hopeprojects) who bring us their ample experience.
