Los profesionales de TAC, un equipo psiquiátrico con base en Avilés, han puesto en marcha una experiencia médica puntera en lo referente al tratamiento de enfermedades mentales graves. Se trata de un servicio de atención domiciliaria, que hademostradouna eficacia excepcional en el caso de estos pacientes, cuya enfermedad les impide en muchos casos tener la iniciativa o el impulso necesario para tener una continuidad en los tratamientos que siguen. A base de poner en práctica su lema, “si tu novienes, vamos”, han conseguido mejorar la calidad de vida de muchas personas que, junto con los propios profesionales, dan testimonio en éste documental de éste trabajo. Porque este especial equipo pasa consulta a sus pacientes amoldándose a elloshastael punto de atenderles paseando por el parque, tomando un café, o ayudándoles a hacer la compra si es necesario.

ACT professionals, a team of psychiatrists based in Aviles, have implemented a leading medical experience in treating severe mental illnesses. Because this special team visits their patients adjusting to them up to such a point that visits may take place while walking throughthepark, taking a coffee, or helping them do their shopping, if necessary.
