"Elsa & Fred" es una historia de amor tardío. Al quedar viudo, desconcertado y angustiado por laausencia de su mujer, su hija le insta a mudarse a un apartamento más pequeñodonde conoce a Elsa. A partir de este momento, todo se transforma. Elsa irrumpeen su vida como un torbellino dispuesta a demostrarle que el tiempo que lequeda de vida —mucho o poco— es precioso y puede disfrutarlo como le plazca.Fred se deja llevar por el vértigo de Elsa; por su juventud; por su intrepidez;por su hermosa locura.
