Con el punto de partida de la agresión sexual que sufre una joven en los Sanfermines del 2016 por parte de cinco hombres que se autodenominan “La Manada”, NO ESTÁS SOLA ofrece una sobrecogedora deconstrucción del caso que culminó en el #MeToo español, cuando un millón de mujeres y jóvenes tomaron las calles al grito de «Hermana, yo sí te creo». Producida en secreto y contada a través de las palabras de las víctimas supervivientes -narradas por Natalia de Molina y Carolina Yuste- y de testimonios inéditos de personas cercanas a los hechos, NO ESTÁS SOLA expone gradualmente las costuras del machismo en la justicia, los medios y la sociedad, y muestra cómo un movimiento cambió la manera en que un país afronta la violencia sexual hoy en día.

"You Are Not Alone" offers a sweeping deconstruction of the case that led to Spain’s first #MeToo reckoning and resonated across Latin America and the world. Departing from the sexual assault of an 18-year old woman by five men who call themselves “The Wolfpack” at Spain’s iconic “running of the bulls” (Sanfermines), the film slowly interweaves related stories to shed light on the sexual violence that women experience every day, building to Spain’s #MeToo, where a million women and girls take to the streets chanting “I do believe you”. Produced in secret, You Are Not Alone is told through the victim-survivors’ own words and the never-before-heard voices of those who lived it firsthand, gradually exposing the faultlines of sexism in the judiciary, the media, and society itself, and showing how a movement changed the way a country deals with sexual violence today.
