Mirza Delibašic reinó en el baloncesto europeo de los años 70 y primeros 80. Su clase y su elegancia al frente del Bosna Sarajevo, del Real Madrid y de la mítica selección yugoslava le convirtieron en una leyenda. El estallido de la guerra de Bosnia le situó en una encrucijada dramática. Mirza decidió permanecer voluntariamente junto a su pueblo en lugar de escapar con su familia convirtiéndose así en un héroe nacional. Hoy, su hijo Danko trata reconstruir la historia del hombre detrás del mito.
Mirza Delibašic, a sports legend and a war hero in Bosnia, chose to fight with his people rather than flee with his family. Today, his son Danko keeps his memory but also an injury from his absence.
