Desde hace más de 5000 años los pastores habitan estas montañas de los Picos de Europa.
Para los hermanos Mier, pastores desde los trece años, éste sigue siendo su hogar. El año pasado tuvieron que vender su rebaño de ovejas. El lobo y las continuas restricciones administrativas están haciendo desaparecer las reciellas de ganado en estos puertos de montaña… y con ello, a sus pastores.
En un lugar donde muchos no conseguirían sobrevivir ellos disfrutan la vida.
